NBC London Games 2012
In July 2012, it was London’s turn to host the most prestigious of sporting events, the NBC London Games 2012. Natural fibre recyled cotton insulation had a part to play in this event and was used for an acoustic insulation for a broadcasting venue at the London Games 2012 Park, as part of the broadcasting companies Green Initiative.
To avoid creating unnecessary waste, the acoustic insulation was sent to Russia and was re-used at the XXII Winter Games 2014 in Sochi.
